Have you ever think what is that JSDF means for? It actually an acronym of Japan Self-Defense Forces, or a.k.a military forces in Japan.
Reflecting a tension concerning the Forces' legal status, "military", "army", "navy", and "air force" are never used in official references to the JSDF in Japan.
JSDF was established post World War II period with confined to the islands of Japan. It is not permitted to be deployed outside boundary of Japan.
However, In year 2004, JSDF was deployed in Iraq in order to assist U.S. This controversial deployment marked a significant turning point in Japan's history as it is the first time since the end of World War II. As the Constitution of Japan prohibits Japan from using military force except in self-defence, this intervention is considered by some people to be illegal.
2 years after this historical break through, Tomica introduced JSDF Light Armoured Vehicle in its regular line-up. But it was immediate canceled and recalled from the production within 2 months. On 2007-2008 catalog, it was removed and remained blank in #114.
In conclusion, the rationale why JSDF was removed from catalog will remain unknown, but the left over units in the markets will definitely valuable some days later. YeoCP//

Looking good man, upgraded your postings with new pixs of even newer cars! I like the older cars from the 70s & 80s. Remind me of all my old Revell & Matchbox cars which was made in England at that time! All in rubbish bins now! Do post some old antique cars in your website eh?
